Countdown

I only have two days until I have to start work full time again (only for a month though).  All of a sudden, after having nearly 4 weeks off,  I’ve thought about a load of things I need to do.

So now I’m frantically trying to do them.

Blogging isn’t one of them.

I don’t know why I do this, maybe I overestimate the time I have available or underestimate what needs to be done. Or maybe I just hide and procrastinate.  After all I wouldn’t want to succeed would I?

One day I need to think about this. In the meantime I need to get on with some work so please excuse the brief post while I try to do something productive.

  1. So did you actually do anything productive after you wrote that post?

The only reason I ask is because if it had been me, I would have finished writing that post then checked my email, then checked my Facebook, then googled some obscure thing I had been meaning to look up etc etc....then suddenly it would be the end of the day and once again I would have achieved zilch. This is basically what I am doing today.

I'll feel only slightly better if I know somebody wlse procrastinates as well :)

Cathy, I think the reason I'm trying to do everything in two days is because I've spent the last 4 weeks procrastinating. So no, you're not the only one.

Thanks Dave, once I'm working full time again I have no idea when I'll get time to blog. Hurry back anyway - I'll miss you :-)
