Ok, I give up. I am totally overwhelmed and really need to drop a few things for now and sadly blogging is one of them. I don’t know how long I’ll be gone but I really need to do this for my own sanity (or what’s left of it). There is too much going on that needs my full and undivided attention and I need to do a little ‘work’ on my mindset while I’m at it.
Hopefully, it won’t take too long.
Ok, I’m not actually going fishing, nothing could be of less interest to me, it’s a metaphor.

sometimes we need to walk away from blogging, if only for a moment. lord, I have done it many times.. never to return but then out of the blue, something happens and I JUST HAVE to blog about it. I am sure you know what I mean..
will miss you however long you are gone. not many get my humour like you do ;)
Thanks Robyn, I'll still be popping by to see you :-) and you're right, I'm sure when I'm feeling a little less overwhelmed and busy I'll have a lot to say!
I will certainly miss reading the lastest news from Down Under.
Come back soon.
It's only temporary... really. I'll just make my Facebook updates super interesting Dave. Ahem.
come back soon caitlin

I shall Leanne.
did you catch anything yet?
Sometimes, when life gets a bit serious, sharing your feelings on line is the last thing you would want to do.
Take care of yourself and see you soon.
Not yet Robyn...waiting for an epiphany..
Thanks Malc, I like 'when life gets a bit serious' - sums it up nicely.
awww, we will miss you Caitlin! Love reading your posts, but COMPLETELY understand the "overwhelmed" thing!
Hope you will be back soon blogging your little heart out :) Hope your break is productive, relief-inducing and good, good, good!
Take care xxx
You've got more comments by posting nothing than you usually do for one of your fascinating weather reports.
Hope life is continuing sunny on Everest.
Lovely to hear from you Cathy and thank you - I think a break will do me good...one less thing to feel obligated to do :-)
I've noticed that too Dave, I should give up blogging more often. Glorious here on Everest - expect to summit at sunrise tomorrow. Poor Tenzin is a bit sick of carrying me though.
i know the feeling of needing a break~generally i just vanish and dont blog for days and days~sometimes i just have anything to say...
recharge and come back soon lovely
xoxoxo
I thought about just not posting Laoi but Dave wouldn't give me a minute's peace if I'd done that.
Not that he's giving me a minute's peace now....
Best wishes during your break.
Hope everything works out well.
I'm putting myself on your followers list. Hopefully that will mean I notice when you resume.
I've been having trouble leaving comments recently so I wasn't able to say how interesting your profile is . . .

Thank you Mary! I'm still enjoying Hugh and Camellia.
I've just looked on Google Earth, and see the flag of Scotland flying at the top of Everest.
Yep, that was me...waving my St Andrews Cross bikini.
I did wonder if the lady nude sunbathing on the top was you.
so any fish yet??
or are you too busy nude sunbaking on Everest? ha! hope you have got something to keep you warm, a bottle of red perhaps?
Yes, it was me Dave...none of this polar fleece and goose down padded 'mountain wear' for me.
No Robyn, no fish. A few minor epiphanies and a couple of startling realisations though.
Hi Caitlin, hope you are well...just wanted to let you know the secret is out :)
Hey Caitlin.. just popping over to say hello.. life is a little more calm for me than it has been.
hope all is well in your part of the world xoxo
OK, I think this rest has gone on long enough now.
It's about time you wrote something new - or put up that video of you tap dancing.

It must be the middle of winter over there by now. I imagine you huddled round a log fire, while I'm basking in the sun here.
