Outside

We didn't end up going for a walk yesterday, just pottered about in our garden instead which is even better really. Lots of activity out there at moment, things are growing and flowering and generally showing off.

Pretty no? The light was bad so the colours didn't photograph well, but you get the idea. Don't you?

Today I am finishing some work I have to do (shouldn't take long) and then I may get on with some sewing. I'm not making much progress because I've had other priorities but if I'm productive this morning I may manage a couple of hours this afternoon.

I may also spend some time contemplating my future. The current options no longer please me. If you have any suggestions I'd be glad to hear them.

Ooh yes a navigator on a star ship, I like that...will it matter that I have no sense of direction?

Hope your desk day isn't too tiresome Lee. Break it up with a walk. :-)

I suspect the pilot will be a man, and it is well-known that men don't accept directions from a woman, so your lack of ability in that direction will be no problem.

How you look in a tight space-suit is rather more important.

Oh good, so I won't actually have to do any real navigating? Excellent, sign me up.

I am however, slightly alarmed that I have to wear a tight spacesuit. Perhaps we'd be better finding me an occupation that allows me to wear some kind of kaftan like arrangement. I have had two babies after all.

You have a beautiful garden. What's the top thing. (Technical term that, thing).

Ummmm, yeah that's not a 'top thing' it's an......'orangey thing'.

Ok, I don't know and I'd hoped no-one would ask :-). Tom did tell me a while ago (he's the botanist in the family) but I can't remember. I shall find out and report back.
