Blue skies and bees

It's a beautiful day, perfect temperature, perfect blue sky and the buzz of bees.

Here's the sky....

Here's a bee...

There are actually hundreds of bees on that shrub but you're just going to have to take my word for it because I couldn't get them all to stay still long enough for a photo. They were quite unco-operative, dashing - in a rather wobbly way - from flower to flower, buzzing their heads off.

Drunk on pollen I suspect.

Oooh, ten minutes later and this one's appeared too. I suspect Wednesday's post must have been held up. Perhaps the world-wide connection to Australia was broken yesterday (I did check several times whether there was a new post, honest, and nearly left a sarcastic comment, but then I thought you might be dead, in which case it would be in bad taste to chase you).

What would I do without you Dave? There was I blaming blogger for yesterday's missing post and turns out it was the world-wide connection to Australia. Thank you, I like your explanation better than mine so I'll use that.

Oh and thank you for being so considerate as to not chase me because I might be dead. Very thoughtful. Although I'm not sure I'd know anything about it if I were dead....you're the expert, do they have the WWW in heaven (or the other place)? I'd hate to be sitting up on cloud, tuning my harp and checking my blog and seeing something in such bad taste.

I've told my son (who reads my blog) to post a comment there should I die, so that my regular readers will know, and not feel bad about posting rude comments.

So I take it you're not counting on having an internet connection in heaven then?

I'm just asking because I'll follow your lead on this.

Of course you may have had to sign some heavenly official secrets act and aren't allowed to actually tell me. ok, just blink once for yes and twice for no.

It's all explained in the Book of Revelation.

Really? I don't remember that bit. I'd better go and re-read it.

Ah yes, there it is...Revelations 18:9...

..."and the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn for no-one has Broadband any more...'
